WEST AFRICA PROJECT
In June, 2015, I collaborated with director Ballard C. Boyd (my now husband) to provide services to a nonprofit in Liberia called More Than Me and an elementary school in Ghana called Christ Family Academy. I taught Brain Gym and Movement Based Learning to both students and staff to help accelerate learning and healing, while Ballard documented the trip and filmed broadcast-quality mini-documentaries, showcasing the schools' work and the story of their students.
In order to complete this incredible project we raised funds to cover travel expenses and supplies through Indiegogo. Thanks to the generous contributions of our supporters we raised 125% of our fundraising goal!
BUILDING BLOCKS
On January 28th, 2017 I was honored to teach the inaugural class for Building Blocks, a New York Junior League (NYJL) committee that teamed up with the Single Parent Resource Center (SPRC). The Building Blocks committee's vision is to provide interactive play with moms and babies (age 6 months to 4 years) to create a safe and supportive environment for the new moms to bond with their children.
I donated my services and taught a free "mommy and me" interactive movement class for their inaugural event.

I’ve since worked with the Building Blocks committee 3 times and look forward to continuing to support both of these incredible organizations in ways that I am able.
YOUR INCREDIBLE PROJECT
Giving back in the ways that I am able is an honor and privilege. So if you have a project in mind and know that my healing tools could be of great service, please let me know!
