Hello and welcome.
If you are a caregiver, you’re in the right place.
If you are highly sensitive - or have a highly sensitive loved one - I’ve got all the love for you to thrive.
If you are an educator or healer looking to expand your toolbox to further nurture yourself and the communities you serve, I would love to share mine with you.
I care for the caregivers, teachers, healers and empaths.
I also care for the littles - the actual tiny humans and your inner child.
My name is Kelsey (she/her) and I am an Educator, Children’s Book Author, and Brain Gym Consultant. I’m also a highly sensitive parent and Celtic witch, grown in Colorado and currently planted in NYC.
I’m passionate about social justice and decolonized wellness. I’m very aware of the harm in the wellness world (because I used to perpetuate that harm) and am actively working to pair individual healing with community healing - because they are intimately linked.
My work, specifically, reduces stress in the body and reconnects areas of the brain.
It’s great for kids because it supports new learning on all levels - physical, mental and emotional. Crawling, walking, speaking, writing, reading, connecting with peers - all of these are skills that happen easily with a calm and connected body and brain.
It’s also great for adults because it helps you rewire old patterns so that you, too, can do new things.
If you’ve ever thought, I know what I need to do, but I’m having a hard time doing it, then my work can help you bridge the gap between envisioning and embodying that next step.
My work also supports the highly sensitive and the empathic, fortifying you with a healing toolbox so you can turn overwhelm into loving action.
New on the Blog:
Recently I created a series of videos on Instagram which I called "Cracks in the Wellness World", where I share my experience of the harm in the wellness industry and how I now advocate for a community-centered approach to wellness that includes the benefits of medical science, and I hope you’ll take a look.
I grew up unvaccinated in the white wellness world. I LOVED (and still love much of) the tools and support I experienced in that world. And yet, as my life experience began to include diverse perspectives, the harm of the wellness industry became unavoidable.
I’ve mentioned some of this in previous posts, but this is the most I’ve spoken directly about the harm that I not only witnessed, but caused…
